International Clinic Requirements: (all locations must meet these requirements in order to get special lesson prices)
- All Travel Expenses paid for (Plane Ticket, Place to stay, & Food)
- Ride to and from the Air Port
I have found that teaching large groups all at one time leads to me not being able to give each student direct attention and advice on what they are trying to learn. Here is a break down of how I like to teach large groups:
- Teach 2 students for 2 hours at a time as 1 lesson
- Schedule 4 lessons a day working a total of 8 hours and teaching 8 people per day
- Try to schedule students with similar skill levels
- Each student picks 3 or 4 tricks/maneuvers they would like to learn (Teaching a few tricks instead of just 1 in a lesson gives the students more valuable information to apply to their kiteboarding)
- I will use my computer with sequence photos and video to help the students visualize what they are trying to learn
- I also use a 3D kite model with wind window to help show the kites position and/or kite tricks
Special Rate if Travel Expenses covered:
$50 each student for the 2 hour lesson ($100 per lesson)
